Ghanem Younes is a Senior Designer and VR Developer who joined ZHA Architects in 2021. He has contributed to the concept design of a range of architectural projects and competitions, including the Napoli Porta Est Project, alongside developing interactive architectural applications and spatial simulations. His work explores the intersection of architectural formal exploration, computational design, and real-time environments, combining tools such as Grasshopper, Maya and Unreal Engine. His academic research investigated automation and participatory housing design through game-based digital platforms. He has worked closely with the ZHA VR Group on the design of interactive spatial and VR applications, exploring game engines, AI and real-time simulation as tools for architectural design and research.
